Vitamin D plays a very important role in the regulation of calcium metabolism. In case of vitamin D deficiency, the absorption of calcium from the intestine decreases and the body is unable to supply itself with sufficient calcium. This can lead to a wide range of health problems – bones become thinner and lose their mineral density, teeth lose strength and decay, and muscle function (including cardiac muscle function) deteriorates. The recommended daily allowance (1 chewable tablet) is 50 micrograms of vitamin D3, 1000% of the daily reference intake for an adult.

Dosage: 1 tablet per day. The tablet may be chewed, sucked or swallowed.

Warnings: Do not exceed the recommended dose. Do not use it as a substitute for a varied diet. Keep at room temperature out of the reach of children. Excessive consumption may cause diarrhea.
