Review of Elmex Caries Protection Toothpaste
This toothpaste is made to protect against cavities. I have been using it for about four years, twice a day. I really appreciated it when I wore braces for one and a half years — it kept my teeth and enamel strong, and after the braces were removed, I had no problems at all.
Taste and smell: it has a light sweet taste with a gentle fennel scent. After brushing, there is a soft minty freshness, but it lasts only about 30–60 minutes.
Texture and feel: the toothpaste does not foam much, but this is not a problem for me. Another good thing is that it does not cause too much saliva, unlike some other toothpastes.
Effectiveness: my tooth sensitivity disappeared after regular use, and cavities appear less often. My enamel became stronger. I also know that many dentists recommend this toothpaste — I have seen it in social media too.
Price and quality: great value for money. Among good toothpastes, this one is one of the most affordable.
