The use of amino fluoride in mirafluor toothpaste (1250 ppm) increases the concentration of fluoride in saliva by inhibiting caries-causing bacteria. Due to their surface activity, amino fluorides spread rapidly in the oral cavity, covering the surface of the teeth evenly with an even layer. The consistency of this homogeneous film does not allow it to be washed out quickly with saliva.
