The people of the Andena Mountains in Peru traditionally use Ratanhia root to clean their teeth. So typically Weleda, we can draw on that ancient wisdom for natural health. The sturdy red root is rich in tannins which contribute valuable natural anti-bacterial properties, to protect and strengthen sensitive gums. We add extract of calming myrrh and refreshing essential oils of peppermint and spearmint, with calcium- based cleansers for a naturally effective toothpaste.
Suitable for vegans.
